Information Security is a growing field with a lack of women, and this scholarship is aimed at trying to encourage more female participation in the field. If you’re pursuing a career in information assurance, cybersecurity, or related field and have a minimum GPA of 3.3, then this scholarship may be for you. The Alliance for Women in Media (AFWM) foundation provide women with scholarships to help further their studies. Applicants must be currently enrolled at medical school, dental school, or nursing school and unlike with many of the scholarships on this list, you won’t need to demonstrate financial need. The application process involves uploading a 30 – 45 seconds video onto YouTube that explains how you would improve mental health awareness.

 

42. CSF Fiesta Queen Scholarship and Pageant

Deadline: May 3, 2019

Colorado women between the ages of 18 and 22 who have a minimum GPA of 3.0 are encouraged to apply for this scholarship fund. It is particularly aimed at providing Hispanic women financial aid. The Downer-Bennet Scholarship for single parents is one of the scholarships administered by The University of New Mexico each year.
